The European Congress for Integrative Medicine (ECIM) – the joint congress for the European Society for Integrative Medicine (ESIM) and the International Society for Traditional, Complementary & Medical Research (ISCMR) will take place online from 4 – 7 November 2021.

More than 125 international speakers will present three parallel sessions over four days, alongside a poster programme of 140 posters and an international exhibition of organisations from across the globe.

HRI’s Rachel Roberts will contribute to the programme by challenging some of the most common misconceptions surrounding the scientific evidence base for homeopathy in her talk entitled “Looking beyond the ‘Homeopathy is placebo’ echo chamber” (Sunday 7 November, 14:15-14:35).

Dr Esther van der Werf will be Chairing a session on Antimicrobial Resistance (Friday 4 November, 14:30-14:50), as well as presenting findings of a survey on lifestyle changes during the first wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, conducted in her role with the Louis Bolk Institute, prior to joining HRI.
