A meta-analysis\u201d by Gaertner et al., was retracted from the journal <em>Pediatric Research<\/em>. The accompanying <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nature.com\/articles\/s41390-022-02127-3\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Retraction Notice<\/a> states that due to errors in data extraction, effect size calculation and study quality assessments, the findings of the study are unreliable.<\/p>\n<p>This decision, taken by the journal editors, is in accordance with the <a href=\"https:\/\/publicationethics.org\/retraction-guidelines\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">retraction guidelines<\/a>, which state that papers can be retracted if there is, \u201cclear evidence that the findings are unreliable as a result of major error (e.g. miscalculation or experimental error).\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On 20 September 2023, the paper \u201cIs homeopathy effective for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder?
