Prof Leoni Bonamin
Homeopathy and environmental challenges
In Brazil where Homeopathy is already fully integrated in Public Health, its use is now expanding into biodynamic agriculture and agro-forestry. Prof Bonamin will discuss a series of studies suggesting an ecological role for homeopathy e.g. a study verifying the protective role of isotherapy in Artemia salina crustacea exposed to pesticides and heavy metals.
Prof Robert Hahn
How homeopathy is treated in meta-analyses
Prof Robert Hahn, an anaesthetist with extensive conventional clinical research experience, took an interest in the evidence base for Homeopathy after intense media debate in his native Sweden. He will share details of how his curiosity led to the discovery that several meta-analyses have been manipulated to conclude that homeopathy lacks clinical effect.
Dr Elizabeth Thompson

What are the priorities for clinical research and evaluation for homeopathy to become a valued part of the Integrative Medicine Model?
Dr Thompson, who has decades of experience as a Consultant within the NHS, will review the politics of homeopathic research. She will share her insights from designing, running and publishing a range of clinical evaluation and research studies, contributing to the overarching question about the direction homeopathy research programmes need to take in future.
What to Expect
HRI conferences are widely regarded as the leading event in the homeopathic research calendar, and London 2019 will be our biggest yet, with an estimated 300 delegates. The academic programme will span 2.5 days, including over 30 oral presentations and exhibition of ~30 posters. As we will also be celebrating HRI’s 10th anniversary, the social programme includes a once-in-a-lifetime Gala Dinner at the world-famous Tower of London!
