Apr\u00e8s les tests pionniers de Benveniste en 1988 (Nature, 333, p. 816-819), des exp\u00e9riences similaires ont \u00e9t\u00e9 men\u00e9es \u00e0 plus de 20 reprises (revue par Witt, CTM, 2007, 15, p.128-138). La d\u00e9granulation des basophiles (qui fait partie de la r\u00e9actions allergique chez les mammif\u00e8res) est un processus tr\u00e8s sensible aux doses pond\u00e9rales d\u2019allerg\u00e8nes, mais aussi aux pr\u00e9parations hom\u00e9opathiques. Par ailleurs, l\u2019histamine, inhibiteur naturel de ce processus, a d\u00e9montr\u00e9 des effets sous forme hom\u00e9opathique. Le test de d\u00e9granulation utilise des techniques quantitatives standard, comme la cytom\u00e9trie en flux. Par ailleurs, il est plus rapide \u00e0 effectuer que des exp\u00e9riences sur les plantes ou les animaux. Il pourrait donc apporter un syst\u00e8me stable pour l\u2019\u00e9tude des pr\u00e9parations hom\u00e9opathiques. Le but de ce projet est de relancer cette piste si prometteuse, en collaboration avec l\u2019Institut Hiscia. Actuellement, l\u2019\u00e9quipe \u00e9tudie la faisabilit\u00e9 de l\u2019\u00e9tude, en examinant l\u2019accessibilit\u00e9 et la sensibilit\u00e9 des \u00e9chantillons de sang et des diff\u00e9rents r\u00e9actifs n\u00e9cessaires pour r\u00e9aliser ces exp\u00e9riences.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"accent\">Lead researcher<\/span><\/h3>\n<div class=\"profile\"><div class=\"clear\"><\/div><\/div>\n<div class=\"profile-headshot col-2 no-margin-left\">\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-19272 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hri-research.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/Tournier_staffimg.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"98\" height=\"153\" \/><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"profile-bio col-7 no-margin-right\">\n<div class=\"profile-bio col-7 no-margin-right\"><\/div><strong>Alexander Tournier<\/strong> BSc DIC MASt Cantab PhD<br \/>\nCollaborateur scientifique<br \/>\nl\u2019Institut de Recherche sur les M\u00e9decines Compl\u00e9mentaires (IKIM).<\/p>\n<p>Alex est titulaire d\u2019un dipl\u00f4me en physique de l\u2019Imperial College London, remport\u00e9 avec mention tr\u00e8s bien, et d\u2019un Master en \u00e9tudes avanc\u00e9es en physique th\u00e9orique de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 de Cambridge.
