{"id":19525,"date":"2021-10-13T13:11:14","date_gmt":"2021-10-13T13:11:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.hri-research.org\/?p=19525"},"modified":"2022-05-04T13:36:45","modified_gmt":"2022-05-04T13:36:45","slug":"randomised-controlled-trial-data-update-2020","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.hri-research.org\/es\/2021\/10\/randomised-controlled-trial-data-update-2020\/","title":{"rendered":"Randomised controlled trial data update 2020"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We are pleased to announce the 2020 update of placebo-controlled trial data in homeopathy, as part of an ongoing collaboration with Dr Robert Mathie.<\/p>\n<p>The findings from this latest update are as follows:<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #003366;\"><strong>Total number of randomised controlled trials (RCTs)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>2019<\/strong>: 221 RCTs of homeopathic treatment for 118 medical conditions<br \/>\n<strong>2020<\/strong>: 233 RCTs of homeopathic treatment for 129 medical conditions<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #003366;\"><strong>Double-blind placebo-controlled trials only<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>2019<\/strong>: 133 trials on 80 medical conditions<br \/>\n<strong>2020<\/strong>: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hri-research.org\/resources\/homeopathy-faqs\/there-is-no-scientific-evidence-homeopathy-works\/placebo-controlled-trials-of-homeopathic-treatment\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">140 trials<\/a> on 86 different medical conditions<\/p>\n<p>After a further year of trial publications, the\u00a0<strong>balance of positive, negative and inconclusive studies remains unchanged<\/strong>\u00a0from the previous update in 2019.
