Hasta ahora, ha habido 12 estudios principales<\/strong><\/a> sobre la seguridad de la medicina homeop\u00e1tica, 11 de los cuales han llegado a la conclusi\u00f3n de que la homeopat\u00eda es una intervenci\u00f3n de bajo riesgo: <\/strong>uno editorial2<\/a><\/sup>, una auditor\u00eda3<\/a><\/sup>, un estudio prospectivo4<\/a><\/sup>, un estudio transversal5<\/a><\/sup>, un informe de Organizaci\u00f3n6<\/a><\/sup>, y una revisi\u00f3n bibliogr\u00e1fica11<\/a><\/sup>, determinaron todos que la homeopat\u00eda es \u201csegura\u201d. Adem\u00e1s, cinco de las seis revisiones sistem\u00e1ticas<\/a><\/strong> (que ofrecen un an\u00e1lisis riguroso de m\u00faltiples estudios) han corroborado la seguridad relativa de los tratamientos homeop\u00e1ticos, describiendo los efectos adversos como entre leves y moderados, y transitorios<\/strong>1<\/a>,7<\/a>,9<\/a>,10<\/a>,12<\/a><\/sup>. La sexta revisi\u00f3n sistem\u00e1tica8<\/a><\/sup> es el \u00fanico art\u00edculo publicado que llega a una conclusi\u00f3n negativa significativamente diferente de la de las dem\u00e1s revisiones. Esto se interpreta, en t\u00e9rminos generales, como debido a una mala metodolog\u00eda.13<\/a>,14<\/a>,15<\/a>,16<\/a><\/sup><\/p>\n

La revisi\u00f3n sistem\u00e1tica y el metan\u00e1lisis m\u00e1s recientes que eval\u00faan la seguridad de los medicamentos homeop\u00e1ticos12<\/a> <\/sup>concluyeron:<\/p>\n

\u201c…\u2026la proporci\u00f3n de pacientes que experimentaron efectos adversos fue considerablemente m\u00e1s alta al recibir medicina convencional y hierbas que en el grupo de pacientes que recib\u00eda homeopat\u00eda<\/em>.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
